AFP is a lifestyle clothing brand built around padel — specifically around the part of padel that happens on court, off court, and somewhere in between. We make clothing that works during the game and sticks around for everything after. Think less performance kit, more the thing you reach for on a Saturday morning and don't take off until Sunday.

Absolutely not. The clue is in the name — anyone. That said, if you do play, you'll probably find yourself reaching for it more often than you expected.

Both, honestly. Our pieces are designed to perform on court — they move well, they wear well, they don't look like you've just come from the gym. But the lifestyle side is what we're really about. We're the brand for the game and the drinks after. You shouldn't have to change in between.

Anyone who plays padel — or is thinking about it. Any level, any age, any ability. We're not here for the professionals. We're here for the group of four who book the same court every Thursday. The beginners who are getting better faster than they expected. The players who've been at it for years and still can't resist a sneaky lob.

We're a British brand — born out of a love for padel and a firm belief that the sport deserved a clothing label that understood it properly.

Padel is a racket sport played on an enclosed court about a third of the size of a tennis court. It's always doubles, the walls are in play, and the scoring is the same as tennis. It's fast, social, and considerably easier to pick up than tennis — most people are having genuinely good rallies within their first session. Which is probably why thirty million people worldwide are now playing it.

That's the thing about padel — it isn't. The court is small, the walls keep the ball in play longer, and the game rewards teamwork over brute force. Most beginners are surprised by how quickly they start enjoying it. The learning curve exists, but it's a gentle one. And the bar is usually open by the time you finish.

A few key differences: the court is smaller and fully enclosed with glass walls, which are part of the game. You always play doubles. The serve is underarm. And the rallies tend to last longer because the walls give you another shot at it. It's faster to learn, arguably more social, and — we'd argue — more fun. Tennis players tend to pick it up quickly. Non-tennis players tend to pick it up even more quickly, which tennis players find quietly infuriating.

A standard match is best of three sets, played to six games — the same scoring as tennis. In practice, most social sessions are booked for 60 to 90 minutes, which gives you a good match and enough time to agree on where you're going after.

The fourth set, as we call it, is non-negotiable.

Courts are growing fast — there are now over 760 across Great Britain and the number keeps climbing. The LTA has a court finder on their website which is the easiest way to locate your nearest one. Go find your local court. We'll sort the outfit.

Our pieces are designed to sit comfortably between athletic and casual — relaxed enough to wear off court, structured enough to move well during a game. If you're between sizes, we'd generally suggest sizing up for the hoodie and sweatshirt, and going true to size on the tees. When in doubt, check the size guide on each product page.

What are your clothes made from?

As a general rule: cold wash, hang to dry, and your pieces will thank you for it. Treat them well and they'll be on court — and at the bar — for a long time.
